I'm heading off for a meetup in Chester in May. So far so good. Was scheduled to fly out on may 17th, around 1:30 in the afternoon.

How's tricks?

I'm feeling a bit more up and at 'em this week - but that's possibly because we've been working with shorter opening hours - and this of course I've been home at 4ish in the afternoon instead of 6ish in the evening. Not that it's been all that slow at work - of course with us only being three at work, no wonder we had plenty to do.

As for fannish. Don't mention it.

No, serouisly.

I'm busy planning and plotting for the reversebang (x-men) and I've managed to claim my first choice - it's pretty cracky, but it's just the way I like it (knowing myself and my occasionally mutated plot bunnies, it's not going to stay below 10K).

I also get the feeling, if I let it, I will have a LOT of world building to do *g* - not to mention I get to play with an emotionally constipated Erik (that is never not fun, seriously). It's half the fun to have him think about Charles as in "I want to keep him safe, hug him, cuddle him and shag him senseless." I mentioned the crack factor, right?

Of course, working on something means I get ideas for orther shite. Like another installment for the Mutant School AU. One where Erik screws up (it's always Erik's fault, isn't it? Well, except when it's Charles'). So I am going to, the meanie that I am, force them apart for a while. Of course I need the right mood for that one, because the other installments have been humour mixed with a touch of cracky characterization, so I can't let this one fall into the angsty pit of angst!

But that's for a later date. Now's the time to work on the reversebang!

So, I've got a 17K long story. And I got to thinking. How do you prefer your posting format (for reading) on AO3. Chaptered of non-chaptered?

I mean, I read it in one long chunk of a story even if it's chaptered (show entire work on AO3), but I use Opera to read fic and Opera will remember and load a story at the same point where I stopped reading last time. So I can see why some of you would prefer chaptered. But, I wantz to know! Please, feel free to throwi in your comments as well apart from just going ticky nuts *G*

However, I have made the aqaintance of trickylady (livejournal) and she is currently searching for betas in the BBC Sherlock fandom - now, I know one or two (or 15+) of you are into that so I promised her I'd poke you guys and see if you might be interested

She does, however, write some of the rarer pairings, like Sherlock/Moriarty (how is that rare?! Fandom-I-am-not-in, I am ashamed of you!) and Moriarty/Watson (interesting idea).

I know I've been quiet over the past few weeks/months - I seem to just crash when I get home from work - of course, the past couple of weeks have been full of travelling, writing and not to mention, pollen allergies (which goes a long way in explaining my constant napping *g*)

Apparently they get along very well - who'd have thunk?

And apparently my muses enjoy modern day AUs very much.

So, as far as I'm concerned, the coffee AU WIP is shelved until this one is done - I figure the coffee one probably has one more part in it and that'll be it. It is, however, nice to have something to work on in between other projects. Of course, currently, I'm having too much fun writing Tony and Erik interacting (Erik works for him, Charles isn't even in the picture... yet).

For some odd reason I'm very much enjoying writing AUs in this fandom - especially modern day ones.

It's less than two weeks before our trip to Caerphilly and I have nothing organized. Well, the train ticket to the airport is booked - to get the cheapter option. But still...

Hi guys. I know I haven't been around a lot lately, but I can assure you all, I'm still alive!

Very much, so even *g*

I've got a few things on my plate this weekend - most of it includes writing LOL (that damned XMFC WIP is getting finished, even if I have to sacrifice a virgin for it).

I have a question, though. Years back, I wrote a fantasy/sci-fi story for the nano - called Convergence - I ended up writing 3-4 parts for it. I'm actually considering putting it up, but I really need a critical eye to go over it and tell me if it works of if its back to the drawing board?

Could this be you? I just need a read through at first - though as it is a nano - it's about 51-52.000 words. And it's porny in places XD

As I realized a while back I'd forgotten to recode both sentinel and smallville for my website LOL

However, I spend the evening watching Q.I.and wiping drool off whenever I come too close to tumblr. Incidentally, I read a fic the other day where someone had written 'tumblr' instead of tumbler (for drinking) - I may have snorted my coffee - it was uncomfortable and a waste of good coffee LOL
