Dredd
I have to admit that I tried to keep my expectations to a minimum (which I've learned the hard way to do, as converting my childhood entertainment to the silver screen doesn't always pan out). So, it was like this I went to see Judge Dredd last night.

I just love it when I'm proven wrong, you know *grins*

Movie theater night again...
Went out tonight with a friend as she'd had her second to last examn and aced it with a 12 (that's A+ for the yanks, I believe?)

She's a media science student and her synopsis for her examn was on Angry Birds.

But, anywho - we'd agreed to go watch A Dangerous method. Now, one of the boys at work claims it's just because Fassy's in it. And to a certain point he's right. But it's more like we use it to piont us in the direction of movies we might not otherwise pick up.

And I have to admit that I very much enjoyed this one. The acting was really brilliant, the story was good and yeah, of course Fassy was tall, skinny and gorgous as always LOL

So, if you're considering watching it, please do so - it's definitely worth the watching. Visually beautiful - the settings, the period costumes, but most of all, it's the characters that work and the actors and directing that MAKES it work.

Also, I apologize for any typos - we went to the Irish pub and had a couple of pints of new castle brown ale (only place here you can get it on the tap).

And I'm rewatching Prometheus tomorrow *grins*

Snow White and the Huntsman
Weeeeeell, yeah.

Went to see Snow White and the Huntsman tonight. It was alright, I guess. It was entertaining, no doubt about that, but that was about it.

Movies on my watchlist in the coming months
Nicci, you want to go watch any of these while I'm at your place?

Hugo looks like a good adventure flick by Martin Scorsese
Should still be in the lineup when I come across - dec 2nd is the opening date for the UK (january 19th 2012 for Denmark)

Sherlock Holmes - A game of shadows
Nicci, did you ever watch the first one? If not, I'm bringing it over *grins*
Opens in the UK on dec. 16th, Denmark January 5th (guys! I'm coming through Copenhagen on the 6th of January on the way home - wanna go watch the movie!? - I can totally watch it more than once!)

Peeps! What's on your watchlists for the next couple of months?
